Meet The Owners of Hounds Town Indian Trail

Meet Gerry and Stephanie Romanelli - owners of Hounds Town in Indian Trail, NC. As lifelong animal-lovers, the Romanelli's dedicate their free time to helping rescue pets find their forever homes. Hounds Town is not only a way for the couple to serve their community, but it offers them another avenue of charitable give-backs to Indian Trail pets and families.

The duo has always volunteered at shelters and kennels, and Stephanie was particularly involved at PAWS Chicago. Throughout her time volunteering at the organization, she became a level 3 volunteer, meaning she could take the dogs to training sessions, walk and feed them. When they lived in Pennsylvania, Stephanie was involved with a local rescue training group, and would foster dogs and help to find their forever homes. Gerry and Stephanie plan to continue working with local charities and rescue organizations in Indian Trail, NC.

All of Gerry and Stephanie’s free time is spent with their dogs, children and grandchildren. They have as many as 7 dogs at a time! They are true believers in giving dogs a great place to live, and they devote a lot of time and energy to providing that for their pets.
