Hounds Town North Phoenix is getting ready to celebrate their place in the surrounding community in a big way. After opening its doors earlier this year, the location is inviting the neighborhood to join them for a special Grand “O-Pawning” and ribbon-cutting celebration on December 7.
Located at 3321 E. Bell Road, Suite B8, Hounds Town North Phoenix was brought to life by local entrepreneur John Pons, alongside his son Hudson Pons and daughter-in-law Nicole Spencer. What started as a family passion for dogs has grown into a space where pups can socialize, play, and feel right at home in a natural pack environment.
“We’re thrilled to bring a trusted, inclusive pet environment to the area,” said Pons. “We want local pet owners to feel confident that their dogs are safe and happy when they walk through our doors.”
Now, the team is ready to officially celebrate with the community that has already shown their growing Hounds Town location so much support.
The celebration will kick off at 1pm, where guests can enjoy a fun, family-friendly afternoon filled with local vendors, special promotions, and plenty of tail-wagging excitement.

- A ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce
- On-site dog adoptions with HALO Animal Rescue
- One free week of pet care for new customers
- A “spin the wheel” prize promotion for existing customers
- Local vendors like A to Z Botanicals, Ark Vets, Bowie Barker Grooming, Pittie Chick Clothing, Munchie Mouth Food Truck, and Kitsune Brewing Co.
- Face painting for kids by Splendidabsurdity
