We Are Experts In Dog Management

While it’s important to know safety protocols and have training for emergency situations, our staff training goes far beyond that. Our dog behavior expertise and approach to dog management not only ensures the safety and well-being of all our dogs, but is designed to fulfill their social, mental, and psychological needs.

An eye-level group photograph of four smiling people—two women and two men—posing in front of a colorful wall inside a facility. The wall is painted bright blue on the top half and lime green on the bottom half, featuring a central horizontal window. Between the people, a large white sign with a wavy border displays the 'HOUNDS TOWN' logo, featuring a blue house icon and a yellow house icon coming together to form a dog's face, with the text 'Cincinnati - Madisonville' written underneath. The two men in the middle have one foot raised onto a low, dark wooden platform, posing casually. All four individuals are wearing dark navy blue long-sleeve polo shirts with a small logo on the chest and blue jeans. The floor is a dark wood-plank laminate, and a white bench is partially visible on the far left.

Setting The Standard In Pet Care

At Hounds Town, our dog management philosophy goes beyond what you'll find at other daycare and boarding facilities. All our team members have extensive training on dog behavior and pack psychology; philosophies that were developed by our Founder, former NYPD police officer and K-9 officer trainer, Michael S. Gould. Our approach to dog management helps us understand pack dynamics and helps us determine how to sort our dogs into playgroups. Ultimately, this provides a safer, more engaging experience for all.
