Affordable Doggie Day Care is Finally Coming to Detroit!

Feb 26, 2019

Detroit dogs are about to get a whole lot happier! Hounds Town USA is set to open three new dog day care locations in Detroit over the next four years. Serving the communities of Troy, St. Clair Shores, and Royal Oak, new owner Pete Mourad couldn’t be happier. He hopes Hounds Town Detroit will be “a place for people to feel confident that they can drop off their dog and know for sure that the dog will be watched over and loved.”

The proud owner of Fletcher, a Weimaraner/Beagle mix, Mourad understands the need for pup parents to have  affordable, high-quality pet care. “We can make doggie daycare affordable to almost everyone and still have the same service model and quality of care that any of the very expensive daycare models offer.” Plus since Hounds Town recognizes that dogs are naturally pack animals, they modeled their facilities on that instinct. “I love how the dogs play together for the majority of the day at Hounds Town,” Pete says. “It is exactly what dogs need.”

Hounds Town Troy is expected to open in the Summer of 2019.
