Fully interactive doggie daycare, dog grooming, and overnight dog boarding facility Hounds Town Ronkonkoma has been hard at work completing construction of Hounds Town Blvd. Complete with a barber shop (Hounds Town Day Spa), a fire department and a police station, Hounds Town Blvd. is also home to 6 brand-new 40-square-foot luxury dog suites. The suites, located in a former office area, are 40-square-feet of colorful tile and feature private windows with lots of natural light (and views of the parking lot!), oversized kuranda beds, and private play areas. The suites are ideal for larger dogs that require more space than a typical kennel, senior or disabled dogs, and any pup that enjoys a relaxing room in a quieter neck of the woods.
The idea for Hounds Town Blvd. came one day last winter when owner Mike Gould realized the need for additional space to accommodate overnight dog boarding guests. “We have a lot of customers who have older dogs, and dogs that prefer to sleep together instead of in their own separate kennels,” says Mike, “so the idea began with building suites and then spiraled into an entire extension of our town.” Hounds Town USA is a town for dogs, and the Ronkonkoma location is already equipped with a doggie movie theatre, as well as town houses (with mailboxes!) that serve as kennels.
