A Heartwarming Reunion
Earlier this month, Mila, a lovable Lab mix, was out for her usual walk when she was spooked by a noisy garbage truck and was accidentally separated from her owner. Lost and unsure where to go, Mila’s first instinct was to run to Hounds Town Morrisville, the place she knows and trusts.
In an incredible moment caught on video, Mila was seen running across the street towards the daycare and waiting patiently outside the door. Our caring staff recognized her immediately and welcomed her inside. Thanks to their quick thinking and deep connection with our canine clients, they were able to reunite Mila with her worried owner by the end of the day.
“She was here the weekend prior while I was at the beach,” her owner Tim told ABC 11. “She loves coming here and I think this was her way of telling me, hey, instead of leaving me at the apartment while you’re at work, how about you take me to Hounds Town.”
