Week 1: Pet Health and Benefits of Socialization
Socialization helps your dog learn appropriate play behavior, helping your dog learn proper corrections from other dogs. It also provides mental stimulation and enrichment, preventing boredom and promoting overall well-being. This can help with destructive behavior at home.
You'll also learn about the ways in which proper socialization encourages physical activity, mental stimulation, and a strong immune system by exposing your dog to new environments. Not only that, but it helps prevent behavioral issues, such as aggression, fear, and anxiety.
You'll also receive tips and tricks from pet experts on dog nutrition and grooming.
Week 2: Inside The Puppy Brain
Dogs see the world differently than us humans. What does that mean for how we communicate and interact with them? In this workshop, you'll learn about the evolution of dogs, pack psychology, and why a dog's pack is so crucial to their well-being.
Week 3: Debunking Common Misconceptions
From crating to leashes to human characteristics and dogs, we'll spend time clearing up common misconceptions about dogs, their behavior, and your role in the relationship.
Week 4: Puppy Manners
This final week, we'll dig into setting boundaries, leadership, and the importance of maintaining consistency with your pup!
