Doggy Daycare Kicks off Summer with Annual Pup-Only Event
Hounds Town – Farmingdale threw its annual Bow Wow Luau PAWty last week and it drew a sold out crowd. Pup PAWrents signed up for the summer kick-off party in advance, and the turnout was impressive. Regular customers were invited to bring their dog in for doggy daycare for a day of swimming, snacks, and fun in the sun.
The annual event has been attracting a larger crowd each year; the pet care facility is known for its dog-centered theme parties throughout the year including a Valentine’s Day dance and a Halloween party and costume contest. Local musician Frank Walker even wrote and sung a cheeky Hounds Town rendition of “In the Summertime” as the party’s theme song!
