What is the Hounds Town Seal of Approval program?
Our Seal of Approval is designed to support shelter dogs in their journey to adoption. Participating dogs undergo an evaluation and temperament test to enjoy three free days of daycare at one of our participating facilities. By providing these dogs with essential socialization and care, we help them become well-adjusted, improving their chances of finding a forever home. Upon successful completion, they earn our Seal of Approval, signaling their readiness for adoption.
The Seal of Approval is included in the dog’s adoption paperwork, serving as a referral and encouraging new adopters to continue using our services. It’s an excellent way for shelters and fosters to validate the dog’s socialization and temperament, giving adopters confidence in their new pet’s behavior.
