Small Business Owner Dedicated to More Than Just Dogs

Oct 21, 2016

In May 2015, Hounds Town Farmingdale employee Jennifer Josephine—who had worked for the doggie daycare franchise since 2007—decided to take the plunge and purchase the location along with fellow employee Candice and former customer Maria. Since then, Jen has hit the ground running managing a new business and being a young entrepreneur.

As if that isn’t a big enough task, Jen also dedicates herself to her community by being a volunteer EMT with the Massapequa Fire Department. On the 4th of July, she marched in the town parade and also responded to a house fire in the same day, along with her firefighter boyfriend Nelson Felix who is also the handy man at Hounds Town.

Jen brings her safety mentality to Hounds Town Farmingdale and recently organized a canine CPR class for customers and their dogs.
